If that is the case, you should definitely plan your next trip to Washington D.C.’s Dupont Circle, a cosmopolitan area that is full of museums, restaurants, embassies and other historical sites.

Scenery and demographic

This neighborhood has a large population of college students, along with many gay and lesbian residents. Homes are mostly large high-rise apartments overlooking the Circle, a lush area with park benches and a unique fountain in the middle.

Cosmopolitan neighborhood

This neighborhood is located in downtown D.C. It is almost impossible to park on the street because of how busy this place is! The recommended way to explore this area is through public transit. There are buses that pass through here, so you should find one without any issues.

Attractions and activities

There are so many attractions in this area that not all of them are listed here! Regardless, there are many places that you need to see when you arrive here. This area is home to many famous museums and places of art; some more popular ones include the Textile Museum, the Phillip’s Collection, the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle, Charles Summer School Museum and archives, Woman’s National Geographic Museum and the National Museum of American Jewish Military History. Two famous landmarks are Woodrow Wilson’s House and Embassy Row. Nightlife is no stranger to this cosmopolitan area either since there are so many nightclubs and restaurants of almost every ethnicity you can name.
